The judge who officiated sent her boilerplate ceremony with the offer that I should customize it however I wanted. I returned it with an apology for only keeping one sentence.

She was a good sport and she said she really liked what I wrote. Others said they felt like they were inspired to think about how they were treating their marriages.

I think this is the best thing I have ever written. I hope you like it. It was among the very best days of my life.
